I’ve almost finished my latest research / publishing project – one of a series of personal projects around the theme of Drawing and Illustration Practice. It contains a list of classic fragrances and great scents. Some are from long established Perfume houses like Guerlain, others are less well known. Much of this work is about drawing as a tangible experience. I’m a little obsessed by fragrances. My favourite is Portrait of a Lady by Dominique Ropion. It’s a Frederic Malle Perfume. No, they don’t do it as a soap on a rope.
There is still some sewing and finishing to be done. The first edition is only a small run. Very very exclusive. They’ll wind up on ebay, for sure. For more information contact@moshaughnessy.co.uk
